LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Darryl Turpin Jr., has been identified as the man shot and killed in a Saturday early morning shooting.
Police responded to reports of “shots fired” shortly before 3:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Grand Avenue, in Louisville, KY.
Upon arrival, police found Turpin, 26, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An LMPD spokesperson confirmed, police arrived on that scene to find a black male in his 20’s, dead at the scene of apparent gunshot wounds. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Darryl Turpin Jr., 26, from Bowling Green. His cause of death is listed as gunshot wounds. source
Police are calling the incident a homicide, however stated that no suspects are being sought.
