WAKE COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — A proud dad in North Carolina recently bought his newly graduated son a billboard recognizing him as “valedictorian,” even though the boy’s East Wake high school refused to do so.
Garry Allmon purchased a run of the large digital billboard for his son, Joshua, on U.S. Highway 264 in Wake County, North Carolina, to celebrate completing four years of academic achievement.
The proud father posted a photo of the billboard on Facebook, which reads “Joshua Allmon will always be our Valedictorian.” source
