BILLINGS, MT (THECOUNT) -The 20-year-old victim of a hit-and-run in Billings last week has died, according to kulr8.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was in an auto-involved hit-and-run last Tuesday while walking on the sidewalk. Tesha Dawn Williams, 21, was arrested and charges are pending in connection with the fatal crash.
The crash occurred on the east side of Alderson Ave and 8th Street West, Billings, MT., just before 1:30 am.
Police say a 20-year-old man was walking with an unidentified woman on the sidewalk when Williams veered off the roadway and struck the male while operating a yellow Ford Mustang.
According to police, alcohol and speed were factors in the incident. source
Police say Williams struck the man and then attempted to leave the scene. She was later apprehended by a MSU Billings police officer who was conducting a traffic stop.
She was arrested. Charges are pending, police said.

Williams was discharged from the Montana Army National Guard in February of 2018, according to officials.
According to her Facebook page, Williams is employed as a server at Guadalajara Heights Mexican restaurant. She is also listed as a Dietary Aide at Eagle Cliff Manor. She is originally from Fort Mcdowell, Arizona, according to Facebook.
