Deshawn Brown ID’s As KY Man Shot Dead While Walking In Louisville

Officials have identified Deshawn Brown as the Louisville man found suffering from a gunshot wound at the intersection of Cecil Ave & W Broadway Louisville, KY., Friday night.

Brown, 30, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Louisville Metro Police say the fatal shooting occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. Friday while Brown was walking on the street.

LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley says when police arrived at the scene, officers found Brown, who had been shot while walking in the area, according to Deputy Coroner Wayne Pryse. source

Police say they are investigating the death as a homicide.

No one has been taken in custody in the case.
