Las Vegas Man Killed After Crushed By Vehicle At V & V Motor Vehicle Body Repair

A man has died at a business identified as V & V Motor Vehicle Body Repair, after a lift gave way and dropped a vehicle on him.

Las Vegas police said the man died on Sunday after he became trapped under a car in the east valley auto shop.

Officers responded about 4:50 p.m. to 3055 Fremont Street, near Mojave Road, where they said a man was working under a vehicle. source

The man became trapped under the car and he was pronounced dead. It was not immediately known if the man was an employee of the shop or how he became trapped.

Metro was on scene but said OSHA would be investigating.
