Elizabethtown woman, Linda Plouvier, has been named as the victim killed in a raging blaze at her North Miles Street residence.
Plouvier, 64, died Wednesday in an evening fire at her home in the 1300 block of North Miles Street, the Bullitt County Coroner’s Office confirmed.
Elizabethtown firefighters responded to Plouvier’s home Wednesday on a report of a fire around 6:30 p.m. They confirmed that when crews went inside the home, Plouvier was found dead. Family members told reporters that they tried to enter the home but were unable to. source
Firefighters said the home suffered significant damage and was a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
