Burlington Police have charged 58-year-old, Bradley Wischmeier, with vehicular homicide in connection with an incident last month in which a woman’s body was found near a burning vehicle.
TheCount.com has learned from social media posts that the deceased woman, who has not been identified by police, is his wife, Lisa Wischmeier.
The charges are the result of an incident that occurred on April 17, during which a woman’s body was found near a burning vehicle in a field in the 9000 block of Stony Hollow Road. Wischmeier also was located in the immediate area of the burning vehicle. He was identified as the driver of the vehicle through an investigation and remains in the Des Moines County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash only bond. source
Wischmeier was charged Monday in Des Moines County District Court with a Class B felony OWI-based and OWI 2nd offense.
