Jahrell Lillard, the half brother of Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard, was shot in a confrontation in the parking lot of Clackamas Town Center Thursday night.
20-year-old Lillard was shot and sought help at a Macy’s home store, where he collapsed. He was taken to the hospital.
His condition is currently unknown.
“There was some sort of confrontation in the parking lot, at which point the 2 African-American males shot at and shot our victim,” Sgt. Brian Jensen with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said. The suspects fired multiple gunshots at Lillard, hitting him at least one time, Jensen said. source
The suspects fled north/northwest of the parking lot onto SE Monterey Avenue.
Several cars were also hit during the shooting. Investigators said they will have to keep the damaged cars at the scene while they collect evidence.
