The suspect is identified as Scott Mielentz, 56, who formerly lived in Newtown, Pa., and most recently lived in Lawrenceville, N.J. (Original story:) Reports out of Princeton say an armed man is inside a Panera Bread.
It has been ongoing since around 10:30 a.m. at the restaurant on 136 Nassau St.

Municipality of Princeton police were called to the Panera restaurant on Nassau Street across from the Princeton University campus, and they have the man surrounded inside.
Police can be seen with their guns drawn as they cautiously approach the storefront to get a better look at what’s happening inside. source
There are no reports so far of any injuries.
The scene is right across the street from Princeton University.
Henry House and Scheide Caldwell House, the two campus buildings closest to the restaurant, are being evacuated.
Nassau Street is closed from Witherspoon to Washington.
