NYPD are searching for a group of people they say beat a Bronx father causing him to fall and strike his head. The man was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Philip Roseburgh, 35, fell and struck his head on the pavement after being on the receiving end of a brutal beating in front of his residence. Investigators say they are actively searching for the group of people believed responsible for the death of the father of three.
Roseburgh was found unconscious after he was assaulted in front of his home located on Garden Street, on Tuesday evening, Feb. 20.
Police concluded Roseburgh fell and struck his head on the pavement during the beating. Reports said he was transported to an area hospital where he showed little to no brain activity. source
Roseburgh’s death has since been deemed a homicide, police said Wednesday. No arrests have been made in the case.
