Derry NH., Police are saying the deaths of a father and son found in a New Hampshire home was a murder-suicide.
Father, Matthew Edmunds, 39 and 6-year-old Preston Connor Edmunds were found dead in a bedroom containing two charcoal grills. The doors and windows to the room were sealed with duct tate, police said.
Officials say the bodies were found in a bedroom that had been sealed with duct tape and a blanket. Two charcoal grills were also in the room, containing burnt charcoal and ash. Police say a note was found hanging from the living room ceiling fan, warning them of “dangerous carbon monoxide levels” and saying they “will find me and my son.” source
Autopsies revealed both Matthew and Preston died of high carbon monoxide levels.
The investigation is ongoing.
