Lawrence police say they’re investigating a fatal shooting after Kansas mother, Lei-Ala Turner, was found shot in a Lawrence, Kansas, residence Wednesday night.
According to social media, Turner, 30, was a night stocker at Dillons. She leaves behind a young daughter, Hellen.
Lawrence Police say they responded to a report of a disturbance at an apartment complex located in the 2300 block of w. 26th St. around 11:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police located Turner, aka, Lei Ala A. Turner, with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Life-saving measures were administered, however, authorities say Turner passed away at the scene.
