Three people were killed after scaffolding at a television tower collapsed in Miami on Wednesday.
The tower, which transmits the signal for Local 10 and WSVN, is located in north Miami-Dade County at 501 Northwest 207th Street.
It’s not known how many people were working on the tower at the time of the accident.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends at this difficult time.

The scaffolding is actually an apparatus called a gin pole. It is used to pick stuff from the ground up to heights that a crane cannot reach.
Thank you Matt for the great information!
