Tucson police have arrested Ruben Lemon as a suspect of a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred Wednesday morning at a bus stop near E. Pima St. and N. Alvernon Way.
Lemon, 33, was booked into Pima County Jail on one count of hit and run involving death, according to TPD.
A man and woman were struck while sitting at the bus stop by a truck Lemon was operating.
Tucson police say the man, 67-year-old Leonard Green, was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital, and the woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. According to a Tucson Police Department media release, the vehicle was a gray 2011 Nissan Titan and driver immediately fled the scene on foot after the accident. source
