23-Year-Old Nashville Man Shot Dead On Jones Avenue Identified

The Nashville man shot and killed on Jones Avenue has been identified as Lorenzo Goldthreate. He was 23. Authorities said his roommate, David M. Holbert, is currently being sought.

Goldthreate was shot dead in the 2700 block of Jones Avenue before 6 p.m. Saturday.

It’s possible the shooting happened based on an argument, and authorities confirmed they’re looking for Goldthreate’s roommate, identified as Holbert, 21. A murder warrant has been sworn out for his arrest. source
