ESTILL, SC (VIA WTOC) – The Estill Police Department says a murder suspect wanted for killing a pregnant 16-year-old girl has been captured.
Authorities say Johnnie McKnight was taken into custody without incident at approximately 9:25 a.m. Friday morning in Denmark, SC.
EPD officials say the murder happened at a home in the 800 block of 5th Street. They say McKnight also tried to kill several other people inside the home.
McKnight will be held at the Hampton County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
