Joshua Hubert kidnapped a 7-year-old girl, strangled her and threw her off a bridge, but she survived and swam to shore, this according to the Worcester County, Massachusetts, District Attorney’s Office. Now she will face him someday in court.
Hubert, 35, threw the young girl off the bridge over Lake Quinsigamand after abducting her from a family party at her grandparent’s home. The unidentified girl was located at 4 a.m. Sunday after she swam to shore, authorities said.
She was put in a car, choked and thrown off an Interstate 290 bridge into Lake Quinsigamond, police said.
According to police, Hubert took the girl from a family party at her grandparents’ house around 2:30 a.m., strangled her in a car and threw her off a bridge and into the lake. source
Police said she survived the fall and swam to shore, where she was found with visible injuries.
Hubert has been charged with kidnapping.
