Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following press release saying 22-year-old Cape Girardeau resident, Jimmy Latray Walker, was found shot dead.
On Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 3:49 a.m., the Cape Girardeau Police Department received a report of a shots fired at 546 S. Sprigg. Upon arrival, officers located a victim in the 700-block of S. Sprigg. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The victim has been identified as Jimmy Latray Walker a 22 year old Cape Girardeau resident. The Cape Girardeau / Bollinger County Major Case Squad has been activated and continues to investigate.
