VIA: State Police say a car has driven into a group of pedestrians in East Boston. At least nine people have been injured, according to a public safety official briefed on the incident.
The incident is unfolding at Porter Street and Tomahawk Drive, near the Logan taxi pool. State Police are on the scene, the agency said in a tweet.
A law enforcement official briefed on the incident said investigators are looking at possible operator error in the incident. The driver remained on the scene after the crash and is being interviewed by police.
State Police said the injuries appeared to be of varying severity.
