A body found has been identified as Angie Barlow, the Indiana woman reported missing in November of 2016. Barlow’s body was discovered on the city’s northeast side Tuesday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Barlow was found in the 5300 block of E. 43rd street shortly after noon in a bush behind a home.
Barlow grew up in Muncie. She was 23 years old when she was reported missing.
IMPD’s missing persons detectives, as well as homicide detectives were called to the scene. Police said they initially received a tip stating the body belonged to 23-year-old Angie Barlow, an Indy woman reported missing in November 2016. Barlow’s mother said she contacted police after hearing reports, but investigators originally said Tuesday night there were no indications the body found belongs to the missing woman. h/t
The Marion County Coroner confirmed Wednesday that the remains were Angie Barlow.
