VIA: An unconscious woman was found with severe injuries Tuesday morning in Georgetown, police say.
The woman was found face down on a small bridge over the C&O Canal, behind where the Dean & DeLuca store is on the 3200 block of M Street NW, a D.C. police representative said.
The woman was found Tuesday morning by a jogger. She was taken to a hospital, where she is in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
