Several members of a murdered family were spotted on security video visiting a tamale restaurant shortly before being found dead in their home. The new evidence suggests the Martinez family were killed as some of them returned home with tamales for dinner.
The murder took the life of 6 family members, one woman suffering multiple gunshot wounds and the other five dying of “sharp and blunt force injuries.”
At Manolo’s Tamales restaurant, the owner said police have recovered video that shows one and possibly four members of the Martinez family coming in on Tuesday, February 2nd to buy food and drinks. Chavarin says police took copies of the video from his security system, which showed the family coming in around 8:00 pm. Police were led to the restaurant after discovering the receipts in the home where the family was murdered. h/t fox32chicago
