Wendy Leigh, David Bowie‘s biographer, has revealed the rock icon experienced six heart attacks during his fight with cancer. He fought back from the serious setbacks and even completed his final album before succumbing to the disease.
Leigh told the BBC that Bowie suffered half a dozen heart attacks during his fight against the deadly disease – but fought back from each of them.
“He didn’t just battle cancer if that’s not enough – he had six heart attacks in recent years,” she told BBC News. h/t mirror
