Lamar Odom is officially getting out of dodge. Sources close to the former NBA star say, the decision has been made that because of marked improvement, doctors will allow him to be flown to Los Angeles to continue his treatment and recovery.
Odom, 35, has been getting care for a week from doctors at Sunrise Hospital in Nevada, but will now be transferred to a Los Angeles hospital.
We’re told Odom is expected to leave the hospital in the next day and a half, pending his condition remaining stable. They are in the early stages of working out the logistics of how they may transport him back to L.A. As we previously reported, Lamar’s stature prohibited him from being able to airlifted in a helicopter, so privately chartering a medical flight is one of several options that is being considered at this time. h/t eonline
As we reported, Odom is “making fast progress” and can move his arms and legs, but he is not able to stand up, even with assistance. His ex, Khloe, has been at his side through the entire ordeal.
