A new restaurant in San Francisco called “Eatsa,” just opened and it has with no waiters, cashiers, bussers or personality. At this eatery, it’s all about machines.
A fully automated fast-food joint is being called the robot restaurant, and it’s literally something right out of The Jetsons.
How it works. You place your order on a touch screen, and five minutes later, it shows up in a lucite box. And with the exception of the hidden food preparers, there’s not a human in sight. And don’t worry, the food is fast but promises to be healthy, based on the prevalent use of the grain quinoa.
The high-tech cafeteria claims their process is better for your body and the environment. The impact on actual jobs? Let’s just say the robots aren’t complaining and neither are the customers.
