“Deuce Bigalow” actor, Rob Schneider‘s Encino home was burglarized Friday night while he and his wife were at dinner.
Among the item taken were high-end jewelry and an ultra-rare baseball card.
Thieves broke Schneider’s home making off with his wife’s diamond engagement ring, a Cartier watch and other expensive items.
The biggest ticket item … a mint condition 1951 Bowman Willie Mays rookie card … valued at $175,000. Rob famously collects old baseball cards, especially from the ’50s and ’60s. The thieves also made off with a 1953 Willie Mays Topps and a 1971 as well. The Willie Mays cards were separate from Rob’s main card collection, which the thieves didn’t find. h/t tmz
One source familiar with the investigation says the Willie Mays card is so rare, it will be difficult or resale.
