Metro Transit cops arrested MTV “Catfish” star, Kidd Cole, and charged him with making terror threats against Metro stations, buses and trains.
Cole, whose real name is Jerez Nehemiah Stone-Coleman, was arrested Wednesday morning at his home and remains in custody.
Investigators say Stone-Coleman made false bomb and hostage threats approximately 11 times. Each incident resulted in an emergency response and some led to disruptions in transit service. In May 2014, Stone-Coleman appeared as “Kidd Cole” in an episode of the MTV reality show “Catfish,” which documents people who pretend to be someone they’re not by posting false information on social media sites usually with the intention of getting someone to fall in love with them. h/t myfoxdc
