Two Lewisburg, WV., Police Officers were shot during a routine traffic stop Thursday afternoon. The vehicle took off and when they tried to stop it, both officers were shot, one was wearing a bullet proof vest.
According to local press, the two officers’ injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The shooting occurred along Interstate 64 near the Lewisburg exit. Police say they have one suspect in custody. h/t wsis
A second suspect fled the scene in a red pick-up truck. That person has not been located.
