A Vietnam villager came up with a novel way to get his kids to school clean and dry during a flood, by swimming them across a river in a plastic bag
A dad came up with his own way of getting the kids to school across flooded rivers in a remote Vietnam village.
He puts each one in a giant plastic bag and swims them across.
Teacher Tong Thi Minh captured the dad’s dedication as he helped primary pupils and teachers alike across the swollen Nam Po river.
Said Miss Minh: “It’s normal. It’s is the only way to cross the stream because no bridge can stand floodwater.”
And as the teacher added: “It is one way to keep their school uniforms clean and dry.” source
Needless to say, don’t try this at home!
