Yo Mama Joyce has got to step BACK over the boundary line before Kandi ends up single because of her Mama’s own loneliness!

Coming from a line of women who never expected others to take care of them, I don’t understand Kandi Burruss’ mother. In the last 20 years that Kandi has taken care of her, it never occurred to her to get something of her own?

Whatever happened to “God Bless The Child That’s Got His/Her Own?

Kandi has been supporting her mother and various other relatives since she was 16 years old. That’s when she joined the musical group Xscape. The house Mama Joyce just moved into? For free?  Kandi bought that house when she was 18 years old.

Kandi’s relationship with her mother reminds me of Kim Richards’ relationship with Kingsley, her pit bull. It’s obvious who has the Alpha personality.

I could see Mama Joyce’s objection to former fiancé AJ Jewell, but Todd Tucker seems totally different.  On the other hand, there is so much pressure on women to get married, even if it’s not the right sort of relationship, I know Kandi feels it.

She’s got to find a way to get Mom out of her business. Give her $500,000? See how well she does with that? How long it lasts?
