Since her pregnancy announcement in April, Halle Berry has been seen wobbling around town with a huge baby bump!
She’s about to Pop… a Paparazzi!! Halle Berry Refuses Her Baby Boy to Be A Victim of Harassment!
In June, Martinez proudly told People ““My son will be an American, but I remain French.”
However, there are certain laws in America that Berry is not too pleased with at the moment and more specifically in California.
With the approach of a new little addition to the family, Berry has been supporting the passing of a bill that will ensure the protection of her children from paparazzi harassment.
Her five-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, has been the victim of unwanted attention from obnoxious photographers, something Berry sees as unacceptable.
As reported in USA Today “On behalf of my children, it is my hope that this is the beginning of the end for those overly aggressive paparazzi whose outrageous conduct has caused so much trauma and emotional distress,” said Berry.
Senate Bill 606 will penalize those who harass and capture photos of celebrity children without consent from their parents.
Penalties of law breakers include a $10,000 fine and facing a year in jail, which become effective this coming January.
Good thing Berry is catching this now so that her little prince won’t have to deal with the annoyance of being a celebrity baby.
Unfortunately, nobody knows when the official due date will be or the birth place of choice, but we will definitely let you know when the baby boy makes his debut into the world.
At least we know he’ll be American born and raised shielded from the paparazzi!
