Joy Behar Says ‘Bye’ to The View

After sixteen years on The View, Joy Behar is leaving her seat and position at the round table. Behar has been with the show from the very beginning since 1997. Amid the rumours of Behar being forced out, she says, it’s not true.

Behar says, “It seemed like the right time. You reach a point when you say to yourself, ‘Do I want to keep doing this?’ There are other things on my plate I want to do — I’ve been writing a play, I’ve been neglecting my standup.” You just might see her on CNN with her very own show. Who do you think will make a good replacement for her? Any suggestions?
