Kim Kardashian may have quickly taken down the photo she Tweeted of her brand spankin’ new diamond encrusted designer pistol, but we have it here on TheCount.com for you to see post-deletion!
“Kim Kardashian is quite dense, isn’t she? Pledging to support the gun control movement and then uploading pictures of designer handguns…” one user wrote.
Some fans, however, quickly came to Kim’s defense.
“Kim Kardashian posted a pic of a gun on Instagram & now everyone is all pissed off. I forgot the 2nd amendment didn’t count for celebs,” one user quipped.
On Jan. 14, Kardashian tweeted she supported the pledge.
“Today, people in Newtown are making the #sandyhookpromise to reduce gun violence. Sign the pledge with me at http://www.sandyhookpromise.org .”
Following the Dec. 14 shootings, Kardashian posted several messages expressing her feelings about the incident.
“This is so so sad! These poor children,” she wrote. “These kids come to school to learn, never expecting this tragedy to happen. They didn’t deserve this. Praying for everyone involved!”
Back in June, Kardashian also posted a photo of a designer Yves Saint Laurent gun, according to The Sun.
And this isn’t the first time the star has found herself in trouble for her politics. In November, Kardashian sparked outrage when she attempted to comment on another hot-button issue.
She sent out a supportive Israel tweet, declaring to her almost 17 million followers that she was “Praying for everyone in Israel” during the heightened violence between the Israelis and Palestinians. Her message was met with violent backlash, including death wishes.
She then tweeted she was “praying for Palestine,” and eventually deleted both messages and promised fans she would make an effort to learn more about the issue.
The reality star has not tweeted about the criticism. foxnews
