Health officials in Casper, Wyoming, thought they had an epidemic on their hands when almost 170 people came down with norovirus-like symptoms, which include vomiting diarrhea and all the fun side effects.

It wasn’t until officials stumbled on YELP that they realized, sick folks in the area were leaving particularly harsh comments for the local Golden Corral Buffet. Light bulb goes off…

The yelp website received a staggering 168 reviews of the buffet style eatery, most of which complained of becoming violently ill soon after dining at the restaurant.

After the story went viral, Golden Corral voluntarily shut their doors for 24 hours while they scrub and disinfect the premises. The weird thing about this contaminated cesspool is, it’s only been open for six months.

Doug W. who was sick for two weeks after eating at the restaurant wrote this review: ‘This place is very filthy, raw undercooked meatloaf (have you ever heard about Ecoli, raw baked chicken (have you ever heard about Salmenela) this place might make it a year before they close the doors or poison a bunch of people first….

‘If its like most of the buffet places, the health department will hopefully close them before they kill someone.’

Another unhappy camper, David M., said: ‘This was the worst experience I’ve had in Casper. The Bourbon Chicken gave me travelers dysentery, and I willingly eat street vendor food in Peru, Mexico and Nicaragua and have never gotten this sick.

‘The Chinese was aged, the Italian looked Chef Boy Ardee like, and getting ill on first dish was my only saving grace.’

Almost all of the people sickened could not say exactly what they ate, as they all piled up their plates sky-high from the buffet.

Note to self: Don’t ever eat in another buffet for long as you live, especially a Golden Corral.
