I think I will take a break from eating tuna after learning – a man died Thursday after he was found cooked in an oven in an industrial steamer at the Bumble Bee Tuna Plant in California.
The dead man was identified as Jose Melena, 62, a 6-year employee of Bumble Bee Foods.
“He was fatally injured when he was cooked in an oven,” California Division of Occupational Safety and Health spokeswoman Erika Monterroza said.
The cooking device that killed the man is a steamer machine, like the ones pictured here.
It was unclear how the man ended up inside the industrial cooker.
