SAD SHOCK: AZ Mother Arrested After “Providing Drugs” To 10-Month-Old Child

YUMA, Arizona. – 25-year-old Maria Robles of Yuma is in police custody after admitting to using methamphetamines and ecstasy and also providing said drugs to her 10-month-old baby…

Police were alerted after the 10-month-old baby girl had a medical emergency and later tested positive for amphetamines and ecstasy.

A blessing in disguise. Doctors, at first, mistakenly believed the girl was suffering from a scorpion sting so she was flown from Yuma to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital where the tests found she had ingested drugs.

The baby is now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Robles was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Facility and charged with child abuse, possession of dangerous drugs, use of dangerous drugs and endangerment.
