COLUMBUS, Ohio. — A teen in Columbus was hospitalized after locking himself in his room and playing an Xbox for four days.
Tyler Rigby, 15, collapsed after not eating or drinking for four days and had to be rushed to the hospital for dehydration. He was playing “Modern Warfare 3” before he became incapacitated.
“It’s like he was looking at me but he wasn’t there. It was like he was looking through me,” Jennifer Thompson, Tyler’s aunt said. “We were talking and I heard a thump and I looked over and he just fell.”
Tyler’s mom, said, after four days he came out of his bedroom to use the bathroom.
“I was very scared. I thought he was going to die,” his mom said. “He just fell over three times.”
And the worst part? While the kid was in the hospital his mom tossed out his game console, “The Xbox is gone,” Rawlins said.
