At this weekend’s filming of Comedy Central’s “Roast of Roseanne Barr,” you can only imagine just how far the jokes were taken!

Comedian Jeff Ross apparently stretched our imagination, and pulled such a controversial stunt at the show, Comedy Central is blocking the whole bit according to TMZ.

To start out the night, Ross showed up to the Roast’s red carpet dressed like Joe Paterno, and was accompanied by two young boys!

During Ross’ turn to crack a sick joke at the podium, he took a direct stab at Seth Green and killed it, saying “Seth, congratulations. This is actually a great night for you … you haven’t gotten this much attention since you shot all those people in Aurora. … I’m kidding. You are not like James Holmes. At least he did something in a movie theater that people remember!”

Although it’s clear that the line was a double or even triple insult, Ross shrugged it off stating, “That is what Roasts are about.”

Comedy Central says that they plan on cutting out the twisted jab on the August 12 broadcast.
