At the GuestHouse Inn & Suites Aberdeen Hotel in Washington, a 9-year-old climbed into the hotel room’s bed, and felt a prick on her skin!
Was the old nighty-night song coming true? Were bed bugs actually real AND biting her?
The only time the girl actually hoped that bed bugs were biting her, was when she and her Mother found out that the ‘prick’ feeling was a mystery needle poking little Emily from under the bed sheet!
Emily Smith was poked in the heel of her foot, and couldn’t understand what it was until her and her Mother Angie pulled off the mattress coverings and found MORE than just a scary used syringe covered in dry blood!
After the hotel staff was alerted, the staff then offered to move the girls to another room and conduct a security sweep of the first room, but the girls declined the offer to move rooms.
The two stayed at the hotel another night, and to make the stay even worse- when they checked out, the hotel charged them for the room after that night of needles in the bed!
Emily’s Mother said, “Our main concern [for Emily] is HIV disease, and hepatitis B or C [since being pierced with the syringe].” A Doctor told them it could take a year to find out if Emily did get infected with a disease from the mystery syringe that pricked her heel.
