Drake is disowning the chick who speaks at the end of his huge hit “Marvin’s Room” because lady is saying the rapper owe her some royalties…
Ericka Lee graced Drake’s song and then asked for a few bucks after all was said and done but Drake said kindly “No, not a dime…”
Apparently Lee has some text messages from Drake saying stuff like “I can’t do this shit (song) without you” but it seems that’s not enough of a reminder to get Drake to avoid some boring legal proceedings. You got to figure Drake could easily solve the whole mess by simply throwing the lady some chicken scratch, after all Lee did have a fairly major part on the song.
Drake’s counterclaim states “She (Lee) consented to the use of her voice in the song ‘Marvin’s Room’ for no compensation.”
Lee is also saying she had a physical thing going on with the “realest on the rise,” but Drake is also denying that.
