ACAPULCO, Mexico – Just before the largest Tennis tournament is to begin, a dozen taxi drivers were found dead, in or around their vehicles, one had been beheaded. Several passengers were also shot and killed.
The Mexican government assured event planners and civilians it was safe to attend the matches.
