The season finale of AMC’s new hot zombie show “The Walking Dead” grabbed six million viewers, and it received the highest ratings of any basic cable show ever! AMC also said that The Walking Dead’s viewership, which is in the 18-49 age range, makes it the most watched drama series in basic cable history in this particular age demographic.
Since the creators of the show only made 6 episodes for the whole season, they’re not only kicking themselves, but everyone wants to kick them for not filming at least a minimum total of 10! What are we going to do with our lives until then!? Meanwhile, we wait for Mad Men…tick-tock tick-tock.
The big question is, will we still be interested in the show if it doesn’t come back until next Fall in 2011? That’s a long time! They better start filming ASAP!
