A Southwest flight bound for Albuquerque, NM, experienced some major inflight turbulence between a husband and wife. The couple were yelling at each other over their 13-month-old baby crying and that’s when mom suddenly started slapping the child on the face and legs with a open hand, according to the flight attendant.
The flight attendant acted quickly removing the baby from the mother’s custody and informed police who were waiting for mom and dad when the flight landed.
After conducting a welfare check the baby was returned to the parents custody and no charges were filed.
