Sly Stallone reportedly owes more than $2 million to a variety of brazilian companies and independent contractors in connection with production of the yet to be released movie “The Expendables.”
Brazilian news is reporting drivers, security guards and the lighting firm, O2, were not paid by Stallone’s company and they have been trying to do so since May, 2009. “Since May of last year, O2 has been trying to get the money from the Americans. However since the beginning of this year, Stallone and his producers have stopped answering their calls,” Wrote Brazilian magazine, Veja.
We are trying to get Stallone’s side of the story, however, Sly nor his representatives have returned our calls either.
“The Expendables,” premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday, then goes in to wider release in the middle of August.
