Oscar week has been a trip to say the least! What fun being on top of it all, literally, on the 7th floor of the historical Roosevelt Hotel, which over-looks Hollywood Boulevard.
Over this last week, I have been able get a very unique perspective of the grand production, as it unfolds. The energy just kept magnifying with each passing day and now crystallizing as the days turn in to hours and soon minutes, until the big show goes off.
I’ve met so many cool people. What a delight it was to have dinner and drinks last night with the incomparable, Chevy Chase. He is everything you would expect in a super celebrity, household name of a guy and talk about down to earth, he’s all that.
Well as my Oscar coverage winds down, all that’s left to do is sit back and enjoy the show.
