Genesis McCarter-Beretto has been identified as the young woman shot and killed at a Frederick High School after prom party.
The Montgomery County woman died and another person was injured, after 17-year-old Ean Davis-Lattimore opened fire at an after-prom party at a residence located in the 1800 block of Weybridge Road, Frederick, MD.

A woman is dead and a juvenile male was transported to an area hospital after Frederick Police responded to reports of a double shooting at a Weybridge Road residence early on Mother’s Day, according to authorities.
Investigators say they do not think the shooting is a domestic-related incident at this time but – they did not elaborate.
Frederick Police say they were called to a home in the the 1800 block of Weybridge Road at around 1:46 a.m. Officers say they found the woman shot in the upper body and the male shot in the lower leg. Both police and medical crews tried to treat the woman but she died at the scene. The male was taken to a trauma center with non-life threatening injuries, officials say. Continue reading
