CT Victims In Tuesday Triple-Fatal East Hampton Crash Identified

EAST HAMPTON, CT. (WTNH) – The victims of a fatal crash in East Hampton Tuesday have been identified as, Kyle Hermann, 23, of East Haddam, Danielle Jacobs, 29, of Colchester, and Leslie Marshall, 40, of Middletown.

Authorities say, the victims were involved a two-car collision that occurred around 5:50 p.m. on Route 16 near the Salmon River, in Colchester.

Hermann and Jacobs were pronounced dead at the scene. Marshall was pronounced dead later that night at Hartford Hospital. Continue reading

PA Woman Lori Mula ID’d As Victim In Thursday Fatal McKeesport W 5th Ave Crash

MCKEESPORT, PA. (THECOUNT) — Lori Mula has been identified as the victim who died following a crash in McKeesport on Thursday night.

Mula, 48, was operating a vehicle when she exited the roadway and struck a utility pole at about 11:30 p.m. in the 600 block of West 5th Avenue, McKeesport, PA.

Officials say, live wires made extracting Mula from the crushed vehicle more complicated for first responders, who has to cut her out of the vehicle after the wires were removed.

Mula was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force injuries that occurred in the violent crash. Continue reading

NE Woman Stephanie Leard ID’d As Victim In Fatal Firth S. 68 St Rollover Crash

LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) — Nebraska woman, Stephanie Leard, of Hickman, has been identified as the victim in a fatal rollover crash near Norris High School, located at, S 68th St, Firth, NE, Monday night, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.

Leard, 33, was identified by LSO as the woman operating a 2003 Acura when she exited the roadway for an unknown reason and entered a ditch.

Emergency responders were called to S. 68th Street, just south of Norris High School, at about 9 p.m. Monday on a report of a rollover accident. LSO said the 2003 Acura, driven by Leard, was traveling southbound on 68th Street when it left the roadway, entered the west ditch, and rolled. Continue reading

Bloomingdale Man Giuseppe Gazzano ID’d As Victim In Fatal IL 6-Vehicle Pileup

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL. (THECOUNT) — Giuseppe Gazzano of Bloomingdale, IL, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday six-vehicle pileup in Elk Grove Village.

Police say, Gazzano, 44, was killed and 10 others were were injured in a crash that occurred about 10:45 a.m. at S Arlington Heights Rd, and Cosman Rd, in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Gazzano was transported to Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village where he was later pronounced dead late Saturday morning.

Gazzano was pronounced dead at 11:23 a.m. Saturday, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Elk Grove Village Fire Battalion Chief Mark Percudani said the department transported 11 victims to various hospitals. Updates on their conditions were not available Sunday. Continue reading

Rayleigh Protection Facebook Group Founder “Terry Coppins” Killed In Canewdon UK BMW M6 Crash

RAYLEIGH, UK. (THECOUNT) — Police have identify a man who died following a collision in Canewdon as Terry Coppins of Rayleigh, UK.

The fatal single-vehicle accident occurred on Creeksea Ferry Road in Canewdon, when the BMW M6 Coppins was operating exited the roadway and crashed.

An unidentified 16-year-old girl who was also traveling in the vehicle at the time of the crash was transported to an area hospital for observation.

OH Woman Jessica Mustin ID’d As Victim In Fatal Wrong Way Cleveland Memorial Shoreway Saturday Morning Crash

CLEVELAND, OH. (THECOUNT) — Middlefield, Ohio woman, Jessica Mustin, was identified as the woman killed after a wrong-way driver slammed into her car on Cleveland Memorial Shoreway near the East 9th St. exit ramp early Saturday morning.

Mustin, 22, was struck and killed while operating a Volkswagen Jetta westbound around 2:50 a.m. by a 29-year-old man in a Toyota Camry heading in the wrong direction.

Authorities say Mustin attempted to avoid the man but was unsuccessful and the two vehicles collied.

Cleveland police say the woman was driving her Volkswagen Jetta westbound around 2:50 a.m. when a 29-year-old man approached in a Toyota Camry headed in the wrong direction. She attempted to get out of the way, but was unable to do so. She died at the scene. Continue reading

Marissa Lybarger ID’d As Young FL Victim In Fatal I-4 Seminole County Chevy Malibu Vs Dump Truck Crash

A 21-year-old Lake Mary woman killed late Tuesday in a crash on I-4 in Seminole County has been identified as Marissa Lybarger, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Lybarger was traveling east on I-4 between FL-436 and FL-434 in Altamonte Springs, FL., when the fatal crash occurred, the FHP said in a report.

Troopers said Lybarger was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and failed to slow as she approached a dump truck. The front of her car hit the rear of the truck, troopers said. It’s not known if Lybarger was wearing a seat belt or if alcohol played a role in the crash, the FHP said. Continue reading

David Stockdale has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in the Myrtle Beach area.

Stockdale, 49, was operating a 2012 Ford pickup truck when it ran off the right side of a Myrtle Beach roadway and struck a ditch, according to officials.

Sacramento Driver Killed After Plunge Off Capital City Freeway Down To Arden Way

A Sacramento driver was killed in an early morning crash after a vehicle careened off of the Capital City Freeway near Arden Way.

The deceased driver was traveling towards downtown when for an unknown reason exited the freeway and struck a power pole. The vehicle continued to barrel down an embankment before coming to arrest on Arden way.

Winthrop University Mourns Death Of Student With “Beautiful Soul” Who Died In I-85 Crash

Kuira Cruz, from Rock Hill, has been identified as the Winthrop University student who died in an I-85 crash Thursday, police and school officials confirmed.

Cruz, 20, was traveling on Interstate 85 in Davidson County, N.C., when her vehicle and a tractor-trailer collided in North Carolina, the N.C. Highway Patrol wrote in a report.

Cruz was in her second semester at Winthrop, said school officials.

“Our thoughts are with her family, fellow students and colleagues who knew her,” said Frank Ardaiolo, Winthrop vice-president for student life. Continue reading
