2016 has claimed perhaps its last celebrity, in what has been a deadly year. William Christopher, who played Father John Mulcahy on hit TV series, M*A*S*H, has died. He was 84.
Christopher shared the small screen with a star studded cast, including Alan Alda, Jamie Farr, Mike Farrell, Loretta Swit and Harry Morgan.
Christopher, who played a Catholic priest but was actually Methodist in real life, auditioned for the role but went off script with a rambling ad lib. Producers loved it and hired him on one condition … that he stay on script for the series. h/t tmz Continue reading
John Conor Kennedy, the grandson of Robert Kennedy, was arrested after police responded to calls of a bar fight in the ski resort town of Aspen. Kennedy is the oldest son of Robert Kennedy Jr., an environmental activist.
Kennedy, 22, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after being engaged in a bar fight with another man that spilled out into the street.
Police say Kennedy and another man were fighting in the street and rolling around on the ground when officers tried to separate them. Officers reported seeing Kennedy punch the man in the head four or five times. Kennedy allegedly struggled against an officer who was trying to restrain him before they both fell into a snowbank. As people watch across the planet for the arrival of two baby American Bald Eagles hatching from their eggs, something magical is happening! Cracks have appeared on one of two of the grand mother bird’s eggs!
The live stream, emanating from the Dick Pritchett Real Estate in Florida, has given thousands of watchers a birdseye view of the amazing and majestic event. American Bald Eagle Harriet and her mate M15 have been taking turns incubating two eggs in their 6-foot-wide nest located 60-feet up a slash pine tree in the Fort Myers area.

One day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher died, actress Debbie Reynolds has passed away. She was 84.
Reynolds, who danced her way to stardom in “Singin’ in the Rain,” died Wednesday as a result of a stroke, according to her son Todd.
Debbie was rushed to a hospital shortly after 1 PM when someone at the Beverly Hills home of her son, Todd, called 911 to report a possible stroke. We’re told Debbie and Todd were making funeral plans for Carrie, who died Tuesday of cardiac arrest. Continue reading
Latin lover and Jennifer Lopez‘s ex, Marc Anthony will soon be single, again, after filing for divorce from his third wife, Shannon De Lima. They married just 2 years ago.
Last month, the couple announced their separation, one day after after Anthony locked lips with Lopez while appearing on the Latin Grammys.
Marc filed legal docs, first obtained by TheDirty.com, which should be pretty simple to process. They have no kids and married just 2 years ago. After four long years, New York Knicks president Phil Jackson and Los Angeles Lakers president Jeanie Buss, the late Jerry Buss‘ daughter, have ended their engagement.
Jackson announced the news on Twitter citing “geographical distance” as the main reason for the split. Jeanie later followed with a tweet of her own.

Did George Michael have any kids? Michael, who died unexpectedly of heart failure at the age of 53, never had any children. He was openly gay so that leaves out a wife. He did left behind his current partner, Fadi Fawaz, who found his lifeless body.
Michael was dating Fawaz at the time of his death. It was Fawaz who tweeted the news that the singer had died after he discovered him dead in bed.

A Twitter hoax targeted Britney Spears, Sony Music Entertainment and ostensibly her fans, telling them the pop singer had died in “an accident.”
Monday morning Sony Music‘s Twitter account popped off several tweets announcing that Spears had died. Those false tweets were later deleted.
“Britney Spears is dead by accident! We will tell you more soon,” one of the posts read. A similar bit was on Bob Dylan’s Twitter feed. Ms. Spears’s manager, Adam Leber, told CNN that “Britney is fine and well.” The hacker group OurMine took responsibility for attack. It has previously hacked the Twitter accounts of Marvel and Netflix, as well as Mark Zuckerberg and other high-profile tech executives. Continue reading
Andrew Ridgeley, who shot to stardom as one half pop super-duo Wham! took to social media Christmas day, Sunday, December 25, 2016, to pay homage to his fallen mate George Michael.
Michael, 53, was found dead at his home in London on Christmas Day at the age of 53.
