John Conor Kennedy, the grandson of Robert Kennedy, was arrested after police responded to calls of a bar fight in the ski resort town of Aspen. Kennedy is the oldest son of Robert Kennedy Jr., an environmental activist.

Kennedy, 22, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after being engaged in a bar fight with another man that spilled out into the street.

Police say Kennedy and another man were fighting in the street and rolling around on the ground when officers tried to separate them. Officers reported seeing Kennedy punch the man in the head four or five times. Kennedy allegedly struggled against an officer who was trying to restrain him before they both fell into a snowbank. h/t castanet

It was unclear if Kennedy has an attorney who could comment on his behalf. A court appearance is set for Feb. 22.

It’s not the first run-in with the law for Conner, in February of 2013 he was arrested near the White House while protesting. Conor’s dad is president of the Waterkeeper Alliance, though the civil disobedience was organized by the Sierra Club.

Conner also made headlines during a brief relationship with singer, Taylor Swift.
