Leah Remini Takes On Tom Cruise In New Scientology Rant

Leah Remini sat down with “20/20” to talk about her departure from Scientology in an episode airing Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. ET. During the interview, the actress invokes the name of Tom Cruise, Scientology’s most high-profile devotee.

During the brief ABC show teaser video posted to Youtube, Remini says “Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself. You are evil.”

She also says it’s “giving up everything you’ve worked for your whole life” — if you decide to leave Scientology. Remini’s been very vocal about her issues with the church since leaving in 2013. She’s said she left because she didn’t want to raise her daughter as a Scientologist. h/t tmz

ABC promises a bombshell interview with the actress and former Scientologist.

Katie Holmes Speaks!!!

Holmes admits her life has been anything but ordinary since her whirlwind romance with Cruise. With media scrutinizing her every move from Cruise’s Scientology beliefs to whether or not Suri was real, Holmes had to reevaluate how to live her life.
And what about those pregnancy rumors? Holmes says, “Well, I’m not pregnant right now.”
On marrying Tom: “When I met Tom, I knew in an instant that we were going to be together, that we were going to get married. He does have a very big life. And you know, we just do it. And, as a woman, you make that transition from being single to [being] a partner. I have a teammate, and it’s like, we’re going to make this work.”
On a day in the life of Tom, Katie and Suri: “We like to be together, so we use the house for our [business] meetings. [We] play Yahtzee, board games, Scrabble. We grill; have pool parties. We play “The Three Little Pigs” and Suri is the Big Bad Wolf. [Tom] reads story books to Suri and we all laugh. When a good song comes on, he’ll break into dance. We’ll watch movies in bed—recently Madagascar and Cinderella, for Suri. We have a really good time.”
On gossip: “We were changing diapers. [Tom] said, ‘I don’t want you to get upset,’ And I said, ‘Well, I am upset.’ So we approached it together. But I definitely felt like—as a woman, as the mother of Suri—I want to handle this! My mom is very strong, and if anyone ever said anything about any of us, she would be, ‘Excuse me?’ That’s my family!’”
On becoming a mother: “Well, becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience — in an instant you become strong. You have to be a little bit wiser; it’s the most important job in the world. During the first couple of days [with Suri], we would just sleep right next to her to make sure she was breathing. And I was constantly learning on the job, but Tom was very helpful and supportive.”
On Suri: “You know, I see glimpses of Tom and me in her. She’s really such a special girl — strong and funny. She’s her own person. She has a great sense of humor.”
On her cooking abilities: “I don’t really cook that much — eventually I will. I do make cupcakes. And [Tom] makes his pasta carbonara for me. He knows exactly how to do it: a pinch of this, a pinch of that. He has a recipe, but he also kind of [improvises] by himself. You have to do the egg at a certain time. He did it once when we were camping.”

Lisa Marie Presley Fights Rumors About Jett Travolta’s Death

LISA MARIE PRESLEY, THE DAUGHTER OF ELVIS PRESLEY, STANDS UP AGAINST THE FALSE RUMORS ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY AND JETT TRAVOLTA’s (John Travolta’s son) DEATH.

HERE IS HER LATEST MYSPACE.COM BLOG:

“Now Is Not The Time.

I wished I could be writing you under happier circumstances but I cannot because Two of my very good friends, (John and Kelly Travolta ) the sweetest people in the world have just encountered the worst possible tragedy a parent could be forced to endure, the death of their son Jett.
My heart is crying and bleeding for them.
I personally would not have it in me to bury my own child.
I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and or attack Scientology?
Folks, as popular as it has been to discriminate and ridicule Scientology and Scientologist’s in the recent past , Now is NOT the time.
I realize that there is a lot of mis information out there about the subject which has caused a lot of stone throwing but we are not still in the dark ages and it is still an Unconstitutional Injustice to partake in and encourage such condemnation.
Among most of the crazy made up garbage that goes around about it , It is not true that Scientologist’s “Don’t believe in ” medical care , medicine or medical Doctors and that may have something to do with this terrible tragedy.
Just like anyone else, If one is sick , they go to the doctor, If a medication will make it better then they take it.
If they don’t then they are an idiot and you can’t blame their religion.
Whatever medical and or physical condition Jett had , I can tell you first hand that his parents were on a tireless, never ending quest to get and provide him with the absolute best care anyone could ever ask for and need, Medically, physically, emotionally, medicinally and spiritually.
I am not writing this to preach my beliefs, I am here to protect my friends.
To the few of you out there that this may apply to,
Let’s not use the tragic death of a child to facilitate your insatiable need to attack and destroy Scientology shall we?
John and Kelly have done nothing but spend their lives and their time helping others, making people happy and making peoples lives better.
Please let this family grieve in peace.
